I wanted to post a few pictures of our shop. We have been adding a lot of inventory and sprucing things up a bit.
I hope you like it!
Mannequin featuring Babylady Inc., Wovenplay, and Les Pompons De Violettes.
I decorated the area with Confetti System pinatas and used a simple moses basket to hold pillows.
I used a mix of new and antique furniture.
I am a bit obsessed with keeping everything neat and tidy.

Aside from running Monkey & The Bug and mothering twin girls, I also co-own a mens and womens wear shop. Stels was born eight years ago by my friend Jon, my husband Dave, and myself. We carry brands such as Rachel Comey, Gary Graham, Robert Geller, Aiko, Suno, Our Legacy, and many more. Stels is currently having a huge 50% off sale. Head HERE to shop.
I wanted to share a few photos of our store which shares a space with Monkey & The Bug. After almost a decade of life, the shop has become my second home. We tried to make it a clean, welcoming, friendly environment and I think we achieved our goal. There are always friends visiting and great music playing. It feels more like a hang out spot than a clothing store. We are located at 334 Newbury Street in Boston, MA. If you are local or ever in the area, pop in and say HI!
Artist Raul Gonzalez created these beautiful pieces. They are for sale and you can read more about Raul and his work HERE.
We carry Warby Parker in the shop. I am obsessed with the collaboration they did with Suno. Head HERE for more info.

Look who popped by the store the other day! Hendrix and his Mama (of Just By Living) and his Papa (of The Hipster Dad). Hendrix was quite smitten by this little pig from I Golfini Della Nonna which kept him entertained while his parents and I got to chit chat. Can’t say it’s a bad day at work when friends are hanging in the shop. We get lots of visits from Sierra and Lauren of Before I Was a Mom, as well. I’ve also had the honor of meeting Jen of Jen Loves Kev and Drea and Marlowe of Oh Dear Drea while they stopped by Monkey & The Bug. I love how this blog community introduces you to so many awesome families.
I’m in Wisconsin right now visiting my family. I’m excited for the chance to relax, celebrate, and maybe even blog a little while away from our hectic, day to day schedule. What are you all doing for the Holidays?
I wanted to show off my shop a bit. I love the feel of the kid’s section. It’s very eclectic and I tried to make it a good mix of antiques and more modern furniture. Displayed I have lots of pretty pillows, dress up clothing, and Confetti System pinatas. Keep in mind these picks are a few weeks old. A lot of the product you see is long gone and we are currently restocking with all our Fall goodies!
If you are ever in Boston come visit me! We are at 334 Newbury Street and you can go HERE for more info on our hours and directions.
